City sidewalks, busy sidewalks dressed in holiday style, in the air there’s a feeling of CHRISTMAS.
Just thought I’d start this post with my very favorite Christmas song of all time.
I will also share my second favorite song, “What Debt is This”. Written by yours truly. Just follow this link (incase you haven’t been following me on twitter or facebook):
So anyway, back to the regularly scheduled Christmas post.
I am writing my Christmas cards I ordered from Rifle Paper Co, sitting by the tree drinking some constant comment tea, watching a Christmas flick on Fa-la-la-la-lifetime. One might say this is actually the perfect Tuesday evening (if you’re a single gal in your 20s). Here’s a little peek at my Christmas card:
Speaking of being in my twenties..I am in fact 24 years old. But all day on Thanksgiving, I swore that I was 23. Am I too young to lie about my age? Actually, I wasn’t lying. I really believed it. And almost argued with dad about it. I never was any good at math.
Well this year, just like every year, I am struggling to figure out what to get everyone for Christmas. Here it is December 7th and I have only bought one present. And it was a prank gift. Not even a real one. In a few weeks, you can read my riveting post about how I will have completed my shopping in 2 hours on December 24th. I have a problem with Christmas shopping. I don’t just like to buy a gift just to be buying one. My gift has to be the best gift ever, of all time. And when I don’t find the best gift ever, you get whatever is left at the Hickory Farms kiosk at the mall on Christmas Eve.
I did make time to decorate my room for Christmas! Slash I might leave it up all year. So festive!
Okay that’s all. Enjoy this season with your family and friends. Remember why we’re celebrating. And keep it simple.
Isaiah 7:14 – Therefore the Lord will give you a sign: the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
